West Virginia Renewals - Your West Virginia license number has been changed to your National Producer Number (NPN). If you do not know your NPN, you can find it using the National Producer Number (NPN) Access application (https://pdb.nipr.com/html/PacNpnSearch.html). This link is also located on the bottom, left-hand corner of the NIPR home page (www.nipr.com). Please remove any leading zeros from the NPN.

For the North Carolina resident business entities renewals – the business entity license number is the FEIN number entered without dashes.

Attention Resident North Carolina Producers: North Carolina uses your national producer number (NPN)as your license number. You may be required to provide your NPN to perform electronic processes through NIPR based on this transition and other states' business rules. If you do not know your NPN, you may access this information at the following link: https://pdb.nipr.com/html/PacNpnSearch.html

NC Renewals: If you are applying to renew a NC resident license for an individual, the license number and NPN are identical (do not use leading zeros on the license number). If you are applying to renew a license for a business entity, use the Federal ID (FEIN) number without the dash. If you receive a message stating you cannot have a PO box as your business address, this is being displayed in error and on March 26, 2010 this issue will be resolved. In the meantime, if you are applying to renew a license for an individual, please go to https://pdb.nipr.com/ACR/SignIn, correct the address, wait 48 hours, and then renew the license; if you are renewing a license for a business entity, please contact the North Carolina licensing department to pay your renewal fee.
